FuturaSun Modules: new powers certified also for Repowering and Off-Grid applications
TÜV Rheinland certifies the new FuturaSun polycrystalline modules for up to 285 Watt
After becoming one of the first manufacturers in the world to obtain IEC 61215 and IEC 61730 certification in accordance with new regulations (2016), FuturaSun has been granted further extension of existing certificates by TÜV Rheinland. Now, powers of up to 285 Watts are guaranteed and certified for polycrystalline 60 cell and 5 busbar modules.
The new 54 cell polycrystalline models, 1490 x 990 x 35 mm (16.5 kg) and 240-250 Watts, have also received certification. The modules are perfect for Repowering operations and also for the effortless configuration of residential 3 kW (12 panel) systems. Their light weight makes them even easier to handle by installers.
The 36 cell modules with 150-165 Watt power are part of a new range of certified powers for smaller-sized panels, suitable for off-grid applications including chalet, sailing and camping kits. Full information is available on the website www.offgridsun.com.
With these new certifications, FuturaSun is providing its customers with further proof of the quality and its team’s commitment to constant improvement, every single day.
Some important information for all sector professionals: on 13th April 2019, all old IEC EN 61215 2005 edition certifications expire, regardless of the expiry date specified in any certificates.
